January 10th

Welcome back! Students spent this week learning different exercises that they could use in workouts. We learned standard exercises, like pushups, squats, and crunchies, and combined them into different games and activities - such as partner tag.

On Wednesday, students followed a video yoga class. For Division 1 students, we used a video from a Youtube channel called Cosmic Kids Yoga. They have many kid-focussed yoga videos, and they often tell a story along with the yoga instruction. Check them out at this link: https://www.youtube.com/user/CosmicKidsYoga.

Next week, we'll continue to focus on exercise, and the older students may have an opportunity to create their own workout program!
